Supervisory Framework Briefing 2025

The Optometrists and Opticians Board (the “Board”) will be conducting an online Supervisory Framework Briefing for practitioners who are currently holding a supervisory role, to better understand the requirements of the Board’s Supervisory Framework. Selected supervisees are also invited to attend the briefing.
There will be two separate sessions – details are as follows:
Briefing 1 – Supervisors for Provisional Optician | |

CPE points | 2 CPE points will be awarded upon full attendance of the session |
Briefing 2 – Supervisors for Provisional Optometrist | |

The briefing is compulsory for all supervisors who have not attended any previous sessions. Attendees are eligible to claim 2 CPE points for attending the briefing. Supervisors who have missed previous sessions are strongly advised to attend the upcoming briefing.

Registration for the briefing(s) should reach the Board by 12 September 2025 (Fri). Confirmation and admin details will be sent via email at least one week before the briefing.
The briefing will include a case study discussion in which attendees will be provided with cases from past logbook submissions for assignment upon confirmation of attendance.
