Updates of CPE Guidelines 2020

The Optometrists and Opticians Board has updated the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Guidelines for practitioners.

The key updates include the following:

1. Category 1A – allow interactive (live) webinars and non-core events

2. Category 1B – changes in allocation of points

3. Category 2 – accept inclusion of posters published in scientific journals & presentation at professional conferences; accept unpublished reviewed journals

4. Category 3 – accept inclusion of pre-recorded local/overseas webinar
